SkiGeorgia and representatives of various organizations urge the Government Administration to open the mountain resorts from February 1.
SkiGeorgia posted the statement on Facebook page.
According to the statement, they will submit a letter to the Prime Minister, asking opening of the resorts from February 1.
Representatives of the tourism industry urge the government to take the necessary steps to save the industry.
"We know that the planned championship in Bakuriani is delayed. It should be held on February 5-6-7, but they delayed it late in February. Therefore, the expectation is that the resorts will not open on February 1, so we must remind them to open the resorts," Daniel Doinitsin, founder of SkiGeorgia declares.
