810 objects (34.5 percent less compared to the same months of previous year ) of 758,8 thousand square meters (44,6 percent less compared to the same months of previous year) were completed in January-June, 2020, Geostat reports.
According to Geostat, 4169 permissions were issued in January-June, 2020 (16,5 percent less compared to the same months of previous year) for construction of buildings of 2576,8 thousand square meters (26,8 percent less compared to the same months of previous year).
“It should be noted that 78,3 percent of the total permits have been issued in 4 regions of the country, namely: 56,0 percent of the construction works located in Tbilisi, 9,6 percent -in Kvemo Kartli region, 6,4 percent - Imereti region and 6,3 percent in Adjara region”, the report reads.
