Mehmet Melek, General Director of Beko Georgia declares, that sales have increased by 2-3% comparing to the same period of the previous month.

As Mehmet Melek told BM.GE, good pace of sales during the summer season is mainly maintained at the expense of the sale of air conditioners and refrigerators. However, following month after August will be important for determining long-term expectations.

"We have suspended operating for 2 months during the pandemic. When the economy opened, we had returned to the normal work. Even now, sales are at a normal pace. The load is the same as it has been in the last year. Sales up 2% -3% compared to the previous year. Now, it is the summer season and there is no decrease in sales due to the demand for refrigerators and air conditioners. However, we should observe a period from August 15 to September 15, how the company will continue operating. This period is important for determining long-term expectations”, - declared director of "Beko-Georgia".
