“We think that opening domestic tourism is the right decision, - Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said at the beginning of the government meeting.
The Prime Minister called on both business operators and citizens to keep maximum caution when moving.
"From June 15, we will open domestic tourism. This is the right decision and gives our citizens the opportunity to relax inside the country, as well as give the tourist sector the opportunity to recover faster. But, I would like to point out once again that both business operators and citizens must be careful.
As you know, the EU has not finally adopted the internal movement, or what will be the decision of the European Union in terms of tourist management with third countries. We are waiting for this and then we will decide on the implementation of bilateral agreements on the green zone”, Giorgi Gakharia said.
To reminder: opening of international tourism is scheduled for July 1.
