The Georgian company GlenBerries LLC, producer of fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, suspends greenhouse and flash-freezing facility project in Khoni.
Raphael Magalashvili, the co-founder and executive director of GlenBerries declares, that the project is stopped due to the delay of land allocation on 117 ha in Khoni.
“I could not make greenhouse and flash-freezing facility project because the state did not support me; the shareholders of my company are foreigners and that is why the state does not agree to transfer the lands to me with an investment commitment. This project is stopped due to these problems, ”Raphael Magalashvili explained.
According to the forecast, GlenBerries LLC should invest over GEL 30 million in greenhouse and flash-freezing facility project in Khoni.
