Real Estate Price Up In Georgia in 1Q2022

In the first quarter of 2022 the Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) in Georgia increased by 4.2% compared to the previous quarter, while the annual increase amounted to 3.4%. Compared to the 2020 average, the index change amounted to 13.1%,- show the preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

According to the report, in the first quarter of 2022 a price increase compared to the previous quarter was registered both in flats (5.4%) and detached houses (2.0%) segments. Compared to the first quarter of 2021, the prices also increased in both segments, for flats by 4.5% and for detached houses by 1.0%.

The median prices of 1m2 in the newly-built residential properties in the first quarter of 2022 in Tbilisi, by districts:
