According to preliminary estimates, real GDP growth amounted to 18.7% in June 2021, overshooting our projection of 17.2% YoY, - TBC Capital says in the report.
The average annual growth in the second quarter realized as 29.8%. When it comes to the same period of 2019, real GDP in June has increased by 9.6%, while economic activity in the second quarter of 2021 has surpassed that of 2019 by 12.6%.
The year-on-year increase was observed in the following sectors: manufacturing, transportation and storage, hotel and restaurants, real estate activities, construction and financial & insurance services, while mining and quarrying sector has contracted.
