"We managed to establish regular platforms for communication with different business associations, sectors, suppliers, and this is good" – Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili told the Checkpoints in an interview conducted by Giorgi Isakadze.
“We are keeping people informed and this is crucial” – Levan Davitashvili added, stressing that with the regular communication things become more predictable.
According to the Minister, this time severe lockdown is no more a case since a new phase – an adaptation phase has started with more experience on both sides of this pandemic – namely, managing healthcare on the one hand and the economy, on the other.
“We will keep some targeted measures to keep the spread of the virus under control” – Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili added.
