6.7 million in remittances in October, which was 25 million more compared to the same period of the last year, - show the data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

In total, in Georgia received USD 1.9 billion in remittances in 10M2021, which is 26% more than in 2020.

The Russian Federation is still the leader among the countries, from which USD 337 million was transferred, Italy is on the second place with USD 316 million, and the USA is on the third place with USD 234 million.

1. Russian Federation - USD 337.3 million, an increase of 16% y-o-y
2. Italy - USD 315.8 million, an increase of 31% y-o-y
3. US - USD 233.7 million, an increase of 32% y-o-y
4. Greece – USD 200.7 million, an increase of 12% y-o-y
5. Israel - USD 152.1 million, an increase of 19% y-o-y
6. Germany - USD 90.8 million, an increase of 56% y-o-y
7. Turkey - USD 88.1 million, an increase of 0% y-o-y
8. Ukraine - USD 77.4 million, an increase of 13% y-o-y
9. Azerbaijan - USD 71.2 million, an increase of 67% y-o-y
10. Spain - USD 45.7 million, an increase of 17% y-o-y
11. Kazakhstan - USD 39.1 million, an increase of 169% y-o-y
