Revenue Growth From Tourism Was Maintained In October - The NBG

Revenues from tourism have been fully recovered. According to the preliminary data of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), the revenue growth rate was maintained in October compared to the pre-pandemic period. In addition, the country received an income of USD 337 million from international tourism in October, which was USD 70 million (31%) more compared to 2019.

In total, income from tourism in 10 months amounted to USD2.85 billion, while in 2019 this figure was USD 2.84 billion. The increase was USD 4.8 million.

As for incomes by country, Russia was the leader - with USD 114.5 million, the EU countries were on the second place with USD 33.7 million, and Turkey ranked on the third place with USD 33.6 million. The top five included Ukraine (29.3 million) and Israel (27.7 million) as well.
