TBC Capital publish a report, which shows the total revenue of the online rental system AirBnb in Tbilisi is still down compared to the pre-pandemic period.
As of the report, total revenue of Tbilisi Airbnb Market was down by 60% in August 2021 compared to 2019.
Unlike AirBnb, hotels’ load is rather improved, which average load rate amounted to 67%, - according to the data from TBC Capital. Namely, the load rate for Tbilisi hotel rooms was 73% (79% in 2019) in August, while the load rate for rooms at the seaside stood at 64% (75% in 2019).
As for room prices, in August 2021 the price of a standard room was reduced by 12% compared to the same period in 2019.
