Electricity production in Azerbaijan increased by 4%

In the 11 months of this year, electricity production in Azerbaijan increased by 3.9% compared to the same period last year, said Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov.

According to operational data in the 11 months of this year, the electricity production in the country this year was 26,260.3 million kWh, export - 2,546.8 million kWh, and import - 126.3 million kWh.

The minister said that in January-November, 1,855.4 million kWh of electricity was produced from renewable sources, including water power stations, with an increase of 354.9 million kWh compared to the same period last year, Report informs.
