Russia’s Trade at $153.5 B in Q1

Russia's trade in the first quarter of 2021 amounted to US$153.5 B, an increase of 6.4% over the same period last year. The share of exports was US$91.3 B and imports - US$62.2 B.
 
Export from Russia in 1st quarter 2021 amounted to US$91.3 B, an increase of 0.6% over the same period last year, the recent data of RU-STAT reads. 

The list of major exported goods incorporated: Mineral products, with 44%, main deliveries to China (22%), Netherlands (16%) and Germany (5%); Hidden partition - 13%, deliveries to Germany (19%), Turkey (11%) and Italy (7%); Base metals and articles of base metal - 11%, deliveries to Turkey (12%), China (11%) and Netherlands (8%); Natural or cultured pearls, precious stones, precious metals; imitation jewelry; coin - 7%, deliveries to United Kingdom (42%), United States (15%) and Belgium (6%); Products of the chemical or allied industries - 5%, deliveries to Brazil (9%), Finland (7%) and Belarus (7%); Vegetable products – 4%, deliveries to Turkey (19%), Egypt (15%) and China (13%); Machinery and mechanical appliances; electrical equipment; sound and television – 3%, deliveries to Kazakhstan (20%), China (16%) and Belarus (13%); Wood and articles of wood; wood charcoal; cork and articles of cork – 2%, deliveries to China (35%), Finland (7%) and Germany (4%); Plastics and articles thereof; rubber and articles thereof – 2%, deliveries to China» (16%), Belarus (14%) and Kazakhstan (13%); Prepared foodstuffs; beverages, spirits and vinegar; tobacco – 2%,  deliveries to Kazakhstan (22%), Belarus (11%) and Turkey (7%).

As for import to Russia in Q1 2021, it amounted to US$62.2 B, an increase of 16.29% over the same period last year. 
 
Mainly imported goods were: Machinery and mechanical appliances; electrical equipment; sound and television – 30%, main deliveries from China (41%), Germany (10%) and Italy (5%); Vehicles, aircraft, vessels and associated transport equipment – 13%, deliveries from South Korea (30%), Germany (12%) and Japan (10%); Products of the chemical or allied industries – 13%, deliveries from Germany (15%), China (11%) and France (8%); Base metals and articles of base metal – 6%, deliveries from China (25%), Kazakhstan (11%) and Germany (9%); Plastics and articles thereof; rubber and articles thereof – 6%, deliveries from China (20%), Germany (14%) and Belarus (6%); Vegetable products – 5%, deliveries from Turkey (13%), Ecuador (11%) and Egypt (6%); Textiles and textile articles – 5%, deliveries from China (31%), Bangladesh (10%) and Uzbekistan (7%); Prepared foodstuffs; beverages, spirits and vinegar; tobacco – 4%, deliveries from Germany (10%), Belarus (10%) and Italy (7%); Hidden partition – 3%, deliveries from United States (64%), France (14%) and Iran (12%); Optical, photographic, measuring, musical, medical instruments and apparatus; clocks – 3%; deliveries from China (23%), Germany (15%) and United States (13%).
