Last year, Georgia was among the Top-3 wine exporters in Ukraine.

According to the American Association of Wine Economists (AAWE), Ukraine bought wine worth USD 210.7 million in 2021, of which USD 25.9 million or 12.2% was paid for Georgian wine.

As the statistics show from AAWE, Ukraine paid an average of USD 2.74 per liter of Georgian wine last year.

Italy ranks first by wine imports to Ukraine with USD 74.4 million. The average price of 1 liter of Italian wine totals to USD 3.66. France is the second with USD 34.5 million. The average price for 1 liter amounts to USD 5.30.

The data show that the highest price paid for wine was from Belgium - the average price of 1 liter was USD 9.91, Austria - USD7.24, Lithuania – USD 6.25, and New Zealand – USD 6.
