Ministry Of Infrastructure Fulfilled 2022 Budget With 103.5% Excess

The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia fulfilled its 2022 budget with excess, they spent GEL 104 million more, which was used for infrastructure projects, - said the state agency.

In total, the Ministry spent GEL 3.08 billion, which was 565.6 million GEL more compared to 2021.

"The Ministry of Infrastructure spent GEL 2,513.5 million in 2021, which increased by 23% in 2022.

The agencies under the management of the Ministry also exceeded the approved plans: Roads Department - GEL 1,954.9 million (105% of the annual plan); The Municipal Development Fund of the State of Georgia - GEL 630.3 million (101% of the annual adjusted plan); "United Water Supply Company of Georgia" LLC - GEL 445.2 million (101% of the annual adjusted plan); "Solid waste management company" LLC - GEL 30.7 million (100% of the annual adjusted plan).

The budget of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure for 2023 is at a historical maximum and amounts to GEL 3 billion 331 million, which is 12% higher than the approved budget of the previous year," the information released by the Ministry says.
