The Interagency Coordinating Council may discuss switching schools and kindergartens to online learning at today’s government meeting.

It is not yet known what decision the council will make, but health officials are taking on the initiative to switch schools and kindergartens to online learning in order to reduce mobility in the country.

Nina Kobakhidze, chairperson of the supervisory board of Geo Hospitals declares that switching to online learning for 2 weeks would significantly reduce mobility in the country.

"It would be good to reduce mobility a bit. Switching to online learning might be one of the means because we are very afraid and nervous of infecting children. Schools are already switching to remote mode; Here is the second part, everyone has a choice. Teachers are regularly tested. I personally did not send my child to school. I would recommend moving schools online for 2 weeks, which will reduce mobility," said Nina Kobakhidze.
