Tbilisi City Hall still offers restaurants to use the open space and receive guests in front of the food facilities.
“Tbilisi Municipality carried out a number of measures from the very first days of the pandemic to support the objects affected by the coronavirus.
Tbilisi City Hall has signed about 200 lease agreements for the arrangement of an open cafe. These agreements provide benefits to the restaurant owners, they will exempt from lease tax.
Any food facilities, including cafe-bars and restaurants, will be able to receive guests again in front of the property from February 15. They can place only chairs and tables in the open space, in compliance with the relevant safety standards. The privileges do not provide installation of any kind of construction in the vicinity of cafes and restaurants, "the statement reads.
According to the decision of the Interagency Coordinating Council, food facilities will be able to receive guests in the open spaces from February 15.
