Liberty Bank expands the Supervisory Board and appoints Bruno Balvanera as an independent member of the Board. Bruno Juan Balvanera will join the board for a period of 4 years after the approval of the National Bank and its shareholder. Shareholders will discuss the issue on July 22.
Bruno Balvanera has 35 years of professional experience in various sectors. In 2013-2018, he was the regional director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the Caucasus, Moldova and Belarus. In 2018-2020, he was the managing director of the EBRD in Central Asia.
Currently, the Supervisory Board of Liberty Bank consists of 4 members. The board is led by Murtaz Kikoria. Members are: Irakli Rukhadze, Magda Maghradze and Mamuka Tsereteli.
The management of the bank considers that the mentioned number of board members is not sufficient considering the size and complexity of the bank. Accordingly, it is necessary to increase the number of members.
