Georgia is waiting for the Pfizer vaccine on March 22. As it is known, up to 30 thousand vaccines will enter the country through the "COVAX platform" and it will still be intended for doctors.
Today, the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze said that the state also has direct communication with "Pfizer".
"We are already in direct talks with Pfizer, that is, we are already talking to Pfizer beyond the COVAX platform to supply a certain number of doses to Georgia," Tikaradze told Rustavi 2.
In addition, the country is known to be in talks with other vaccine companies, including AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Sinovac, Moderna, and others. However, the Ministry of Health does not talk about the details of the negotiations.
