Tesco and other retailers are urgently recalling a number of products.

There are a number of reasons why brands recall products and the reasons listed below include food possibly containing Listeria monocytogenes and undeclared ingredients.

All of the companies have asked customers not to consume the products and instead to return them to their local store in order to obtain refunds.

Below is the list of products being recalled:

Tesco

Tesco 16 Spicy Chorizo Slices

The Food Standards Agency said: "Tesco has recalled its 16 Spicy Chorizo Slices 80g because the product contains Listeria monocytogenes."

The recall impacts 80g packs with a use by date of December 19, 2020.

Tesco have said: "If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund."

Various roasted coffee beans

The FSA has released an updated alert which replaces earlier alerts and states: "Various roasted coffee beans covered in dark chocolate products have been recalled because they contain almonds (nuts) which are not mentioned on the label. This includes some products which contain roasted coffee beans covered in dark chocolate as an ingredient. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to almonds (nuts). This Allergy Alert has been updated as more product information has been added."
