“The revised draft Budget for 2021 only provides the specified macro-economic indices. The nominal GDP and GDP growth are maintained. The draft provides the specified state debt – 51,1% instead of 52,5%”, - the Chair of the Committee, Irakli Kovzanadze stated.
As the reporter, First Deputy Finance Minister, Giorgi Kakauridze stated, the final draft contains no changes, just the specified macro-economic parameters.
The nominal index of GDP for 2021 is determined by GEL 58,5 million. The deficit index is unchanged – 6,7%. As to the state debt, it has been corrected according to the official rate to constitute 51,1%. As the corrected draft b budget provides, the Health Care Ministry will receive GEL376 million more and the assignments of the Ministry will constitute 6 GEL 468,9 million, which is related to the pandemic.
The Committee approved the draft.
