The Committee discussed the Bill on Local Fees initiated by MPs Beka Davituliani, Maia Bitadze, Irakli Zarkua, Sozar Subari, Irakli Medzmariashvili, Maia Menagarishvili, Ketevan Dumbadze, Giorgi Tsagareishvili, Edisher Toloraia and Victor Japaridze.
The Bill establishes the installment terms for the issue of the special (zonal) agreement as of January 1, 2025. Under the current Law, the term is established no later than January 1, 2020.
According to Davituliani, the expiration of this term impedes the functioning of the premises. There are about 20 companies in Tbilisi with built premises but fees unpaid so, these premises cannot be set to operation. It damages the population and terminates the functioning of the premises. I offer to reserve the opportunity for Tbilisi municipality to extend the term to 2025”, - the reporter stated. The Committee approved the Bill.
