The Ministry of Finance has published a performance report for 1H2022.
According to the document, the Revenue Service conducted 1,600 tax audits in the first half of this year, as a result of which businesses were charged GEL 249.3 million in taxes.
As of the document, the tax revenue of the combined budget was GEL 8 billion in 1H2022, which was 2.2% more than the amount determined by the plan.
In more detail, tax revenues were distributed as follows:
Income tax - GEL2.43 billion, 106% of the plan;
VAT - GEL 3.39 billion, 112% of the plan;
Profit tax - GEL 1.13 billion, 124% of the plan;
Excise duty - GEL 774 million, 100% of the plan.
