Nika Gamkrelidze, head of the Georgian Healthcare Group (GHG) says that Giorgi Gakharia had good communication with the business, he knew well the needs of the private sector.

"I know him since the time of Business Ombudsman and he was one of the most effective business ombudsmen. I would evaluate his work positively. I can say that Giorgi Gakharia understands the language of business well and knows what problems the business has, moreover he is one of the biggest enemies of the bureaucracy, which is quite damaging for our country, "Gamkrelidze said.

The head of Georgian Healthcare Group, could not recall Giorgi Gakharia’s mistakes.

"Communication may never be enough, but I think the business had pretty good communication with Gakharia. Most important was that it was open and easy”, said Gamrelidze.

Nika Gamkrelidze also assesses the current economic crisis and names the sectors that the next PM should focus on. He notes that attracting investments is the most important issue.

"The country is in a rather big economic crisis; Georgia has never been in such a recession for a long time. The economic growth amounted to - 6% and now it is still in a political crisis. The commitment of the new Prime Minister and the ruling team is to quickly pull the country out of the political crisis in order to take care of the economic crisis. Otherwise, the economic crisis will deepen in our country and it will be difficult to recover.

It is a very difficult situation. Even if we look at it as an investor. When we talk about the FDIs, no one will invest money in Georgia now. I unequivocally say that everyone should take their responsibility, but first of all it is the responsibility of the management team to solve these problems quickly and respectfully, ” Nikoloz Gamkrelidze explained.
