“Full engagement of the Ministry of Infrastructure, as well as the private sector, will make Tskaltubo project attractive”, businessman Lasha Papashvili responded to a question from BM.GE, whether the Tskaltubo development project would be attractive to the private sector.
In addition, the businessman emphasized the importance of tax benefits.
Namely, according to Papashvili, it would be good if Tskaltubo was granted a status of a special tourist zone, as that status would provide benefit for property and profit tax, as well as in the part of VAT.
“It is good, if there will be tax benefits… In my estimation, preservation of monumental Soviet buildings and their services will cost twice as much as the modern ones ... Such benefits are very important and if Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili’s initiative is proven by the affair and specific projects are launched, business will follow”, - said Lasha Papashvili.
