"Today, the council discussed tightening of monitoring of COVID-related regulation, including the wearing of face mask”, - said Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia after the meeting of the Coordination Council.
According to her, enforcing all the restrictive measures and regulations are important for the management of the epidemiological situation.
"Today, the council discussed tightening of monitoring of COVID-related regulations, including wearing of face mask. Face mask is still the main means of protection. Thus, it is strongly recommended for all citizens to use a face mask both outdoors and indoors," Gabunia said.
According to her, no additional regulations are planned yet and the main thing is to implement what is currently in force.
For reference, wearing a face mask indoors is mandatory at this time.
