The National Center for Disease Control published a post on its Facebook page explaining that the development of anaphylaxis does not mean the vaccine is of poor quality.

"Anaphylaxis is an immediate type of allergic reaction. The first symptoms of anaphylaxis are a sharp local reaction, itching, shortness of breath, pronounced paleness, drop in blood pressure.

Anaphylactic shock can also be fatal. Anaphylaxis is a possible but rare side effect of any vaccine, and its development does not mean that the vaccine is of poor quality," the NCDC wrote.

As it is known, 27-year-old nurse Megi Bakradze in Akhaltsikhe probably developed anaphylactic shock after getting the AstraZeneca vaccine. Doctors were unable to save her.
