Military doctors and mobile groups will join the vaccination process in Georgia.
The Georgian Defence Ministry stated that it donated hundreds of beds to the Georgian Health Ministry in two different locations of the Dighomi and Samgori districts of Tbilisi.
Besides, the Georgian Defence Forces will be involved in the vaccination process for its effective implementation to combat the surge of coronavirus.
The first main location will be a field hospital for 500 Covid-19 patients, which is set to open in Didi Digomi district of Tbilisi.
Here military doctors will serve the patients, Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze stated, adding that this will happen only if cases keep surging despite the restrictive measures that have been reintroduced by the state earlier.
