The Natural Persons Exempted From The Obligation To Use The Cash-Machine For Another Year

The Parliament adopted in a simplified manner the Draft Tax Code, exempting the natural persons from using the cash machines for 1 year – from January 1, 2022, to January 1, 2023.

The change also envisages the extension of the obligation on the use of the cash machines in non-traditional malls and fairs.

“The change concerns the obligation under the Tax Code of 2017 on the use of cash machines at the non-stationary desks in the fair markets. As of December 18, 2019, the obligation has been extended to January 1, 2022, and the change further extends it to January 1, 2023. It is entailed with the situation in the country related to the pandemic”, - one of the initiators, Eka Sepashvili stated.

The Draft is initiated by David Songulashvili, Eka Sepashvili, Gocha Enukidze, Nino Tsilosani, Isko Daseni, Elguja Gotsiridze and Bezhan Tsakadze.

The Code shall become effective upon promulgation.
