The 73% of respondents believes that low spread of COVID-19 in the country is the result of correct measures taken by the government and doctors; the 71% believes that this is attributed to Georgian genetics and religion, the survey conducted by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) reports.

According to the NDI, 30% think that the virus was created in the laboratory and spread artificially while 22% think that it was created in the laboratory but the virus itself spread naturally.
