The plan is very ambitious, the main thing is to be feasible, - Nino Zambakhidze, chairperson of the Farmers' Association declares about the 10-year program “Economy-2030”.

She considers that today small and medium-sized businesses in the country have many challenges and if the plan is implemented, the situation will improve.

"The development of small and medium businesses announced in agro-tourism is very realistic. We know what challenges the COVID-pandemic has brought to small and medium-sized businesses, including farms. So the plan, which is being implemented by both the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Agriculture, I think will support farms and the agro-tourism sector.

The employment factor is critically important today and it is an area where more people can be employed and the poverty line can be lowered at least slightly. The plan is very ambitious, the main thing is to be feasible. There are a lot of challenges, including the access to financial capital, as well as lack of education. The plan must not remain as a plan," Zambakhidze said.
