February 15 trading opened the day with GEL deprecation in the Bloomberg Trading system and now 1 USD costs 3.0025 GEL, which is 0.025 higher than the exchange rate at the beginning of the trade.
As of the official exchange rate, now 1 USD costs 2.9687 GEL, which is expected to depreciate today.
From the end of January to the first half of February, the GEL exchange rate strengthened by 4.5%, but after a few days the exchange rate started to depreciate again.
