In February 2021, the volume of money transfers from abroad constituted 161.4 million USD (534.0 million GEL), which is 17.5% (24.1 million USD) more than the amount in February 2020, the National Bank of Georgia reports.
According to the NBG, 94.8% percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 19 largest partner countries, with the volume of transfers from these countries each exceeding 1 million USD in February 2021. In February 2020 the share of these 19 countries constituted 94.7% percent of the total volume of money transfers.

Azerbaijan - 5.96 million USD;
Spain - 3.99 million USD;
France - 2.67 million USD;
Poland - 2.10 million USD;
Kazakhstan - 1.77 million USD;
Canada - 1.45 million USD;
Ireland - 1.42 million USD;
United Kingdom - 1.10 million USD;
Armenia - $ 1.04 million;
Kyrgyzstan - $ 1.04 million;
Cyprus - $ 1.03 million.
In February 2021, 21.0 million USD (or 69.4 million GEL) was transferred from Georgia, which is 3.4% less as compared to 21.7 million USD in February 2020.
