Those vaccinated with "Sinopharm" will have to take the second dose after 21 days - Ministry of Health

According to the decision of the Immunization Council, the Chinese-made Sinopharm vaccine has been added to the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines in the immunization process in the country since May 4.
 
It should be noted that vaccination with "Sinopharm" was started by 33 vaccination brigades in 30 institutions involved in the immunization process. And from May 5, another 44 medical facilities will be added.

Vaccination with Sinopharm is available for citizens over 18 years of age in Georgia, registration starts on April 27.

2 doses required for vaccination are made at 21-day intervals. Vaccine storage conditions range from 2 to 8 degrees.
 
According to the Ministry, the Chinese-made "Sinopharm" vaccine, made on a traditional method, is one of the most common vaccines in the world, with at least 40 million people already vaccinated.
 
"Only vaccines authorized by WHO or its strict regulators are used in Georgia. At this stage, the Chinese-made vaccine is recognized by the strict regulator of Hungary.

In addition to Hungary, Sinopharm is approved in the United Arab Emirates, China, Serbia, Bahrain, Pakistan, Egypt, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and South America.

Sinopharm vaccine is recognized and used in about 45 countries," the health ministry said in a statement.
