Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze, states that measures regarding the use of face masks will be tightened in Tbilisi.
As the Minister said at the briefing after the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council, at this stage there is no basis for imposing additional restrictions in Tbilisi.
"The first and most important measure that remains is the use of face masks, and we believe that we will tighten measures in this direction. As for traffic restrictions, we are discussing it, but this is not the primary solution to this problem today, as we take into account both the density of the capital and the degree of observing the measures. We hope that the population of the capital will help us in terms of intenstive use of face masks, so we do not have to face additional restrictions", - said the Minister.
