According to National Bank of Georgia, on June 2, 2020, GEL 70 000 000 2-year Ministry of Finance Treasury Notes were sold at the Auction.
Six commercial banks participated in the auction. The total demand amounted to GEL 148 650 000. Minimum yield was 8.300%, maximum yield was 8.790% and the weighted average yield was 8.752%.
The coupon rate was 9.375%. Coupons will be paid semiannually.
However, securities in the amount of GEL 50 000 000 with a maturity of 182-days were sold at the Ministry of Finance Treasury Bill Auction.
Seven commercial banks participated in the auction. The total demand amounted to GEL 111 500 000. Minimum yield was 8.500%, maximum yield was 8.740% and the weighted average yield was 8.655%.
