The National Tourism Administration of Georgia (GNTA) published a summary report on tourism for 2020. According to the document, the number of international visits was 81% or 7,608,656 down y-o-y and came out to 1,749,308. Most of these people visited Georgia before the first lockdown was declared. Consequently, last year Georgia received as many visitors as in 2010.
Most visitors to Georgia сcome from the regional countries, while EU member states are not in the top ten at all.
