The number of international tourist visits amounted to 1,209,272 in 6 months of 2022, which was 186.3% more than the same period last year, - according to the government administration.

The administration notes, that the issue of the positive dynamics of tourism was discussed at the meeting of the Economic Council.

"Revenues from tourism have recovered by 75.3% in January-May and the income amounted to USD 840.9 million.

Speaking about the dynamics of tourism recovery, it was noted that 445,894 international travelers visited Georgia in June of this year and the increase is 185.5% compared to June 2021”, - the administration noted.
