Toy manufacturer German company "Goki" is interested in toy production in Georgia.

Kote Svanadze, the founder of “Kodala” told about it to BM.GE.

According to him, Goki is making orders in Bulgaria at this stage. They are interested to bring their main production resources to Georgia. As Kote Svanadze explains, the need for expansion of the enterprise was caused by the factor of cooperation with the international company, along with the increased sales of Kodala toys.

“Our Georgian toys manufactured by Goki brand will be sold under the label “Made in Georgia”. Negotiations have been going on for over a year. The interest was caused by the quality and price of the products, as well as the DCFTA factor. The minimum monthly order volume will be over 30,000 GEL”, the founder of Kodala told BM.GE.

To note, Kodala's toy sales account for 70-60% of the local market, with exports - 30-40%. In order to increase the export potential of the enterprise, the managers decided to expand and move the company to a new location from spring.
