Transactions Registered On Old Flats Up - Colliers Georgia

In September 2021, 2,997 transactions were registered in Tbilisi, that is 5% lower than the previous year and 7% higher than 2019, - according to Colliers Georgia.

Colliers Georgia reports, that as for the market size, the figure stands at USD 138 million, reflecting a 2% increase compared to the same period in 2020 and is 11% higher than 2019.

In September 2021, 1,980 transactions were registered in new projects, that is 9% lower than the same period of the previous year and 8% higher than 2019. The number of transactions registered on old flats has increased by 4% compared to both 2020 and 2019.

In September 2021, the market size of new flats has decreased by 1% when compared to the previous year and has increased by 13% compared to 2019. As for the old flats, the figure stands at USD 42 million, increasing by 9% and 7% in comparison with 2020 and 2019, respectively.

According to the report, the number of transactions recorded on economy new apartments saw 18% decrease in comparison with 2020 and 11% increase compared to 2019. As for the medium segment the figure has increased by 41% compared to 2020 and by 3% compared to 2019. On the other hand, the figure for premium segment has increased by 32% compared to 2020 and has decreased by 6% compared to 2019.
