Ukraine spent over UAH 30 billion (US$1,123,784,700) in January-August 2021 on the fight against COVID-19, the Ukrainian Finance Ministry has reported.
"More than 30 billion hryvnias were spent on the fight against COVID-19 in the first eight months of 2021," the report said, Ukrinform reports.
More than UAH 36 billion (US$1,348,541,640) is to be spent on the fight against COVID-19 in 2021.
As was reported earlier, UAH 67 billion (US$2,509,785,830) out of the UAH 78 billion (US$2,921,840,220) allocated by the government through the Fund for Combating COVID-19 was used in 2020.
