Ukraine's gross domestic product increased by 5.7% in the second quarter of 2021 compared to the same period in 2020, the State Statistics Service said.
Compared to the first quarter of 2021, the country's GDP shrank by 0.7% (taking into account the seasonal factor). Nominal GDP in April-June 2021 amounted to UAH 1.169 trillion (US$43,816,446,310), and GDP per capita was UAH 28,189 (US$1,057), Ukrinform reports.
Ukraine's nominal GDP in 2020 amounted to UAH 4.19 trillion US$157,049,538,100), or 4% less than in 2019. GDP per capita in 2020 amounted to UAH 100,470 (US$3,76).
