According to Union of Oil Importers, import of aviation oil has made up 6,0 thousand t in March 2020, which is 1,0 thousand t i.e. 14,3% low comparing to February, while less by 2,1 thousand t i.e. 25,9% comparing to the same period of the last year.
In March, 81.7% (4.9 thousand tons) of imports of aviation oil has been imported from Turkmenistan and 18.3% (1.1 thousand tons) from Turkey.
In January-March of this year, imports of aviation oil amounted to 18.5 thousand t, which is 3.2 thousand t or 14.7% less comparing to the same period of the last year (21.7 thousand t).
During the first quarter of the current year, 74.1% (13.7 thousand tons) of aviation oil import accounts for Turkmenistan, 14.1% (2.6 thousand tons) - Turkey, 11.8% (2.2 thousand tons) - Romania.
Decline of aviation oil directly related to the suspension of flights to COVID-19 pandemic.
