According to the Head of NCDC Amiran Gamkrelidze, up to 700 students are already been involved in managing COVID-19 cases in Georgia.
According to the Head of NCDC, the more people with medical knowledge get involved in the process the better. “We are not reinventing the bicycle – Gamkrelidze said – Such is a practice in many European countries. This involvement is very important to handle the pandemic”.
