US Embassy Congratulates Georgia On Independence Day
The Embassy of the United States of America congratulates Georgia on Independence Day. According to the Embassy's letter, despite the Soviet regime's attempts throughout seventy years, the Georgian people maintained the legacy of Georgia's First Republic and strive to implement its ideals to this day.
"Georgia's first independence day was a grand celebration. May 26 was a result of courage, unity, relentless effort, and boundless love for the country.

Each May 26 is a celebration of these achievements and Georgian’s fierce love for their freedom.
