Nikoloz Gamkrelidze, Chief Executive Officer at Georgia Healthcare Group declares, that vaccination of 60% of the country's population is a difficult task. According to him, 60% is a hard margin and the involvement of the private sector in this process is important.
“Private sector must be engaged in imports. Large companies should be involved in the promotion campaign in order to explain what are the benefits of vaccination. Now, we all are on the same boat - the state, the government and the private sector. Vaccination is the primary tool for a quick and full economic recovery. If the economy does not recover quickly, both the private sector and the government everyone will have the same problems," said Nikoloz Gamkrelidze.
According to him, the Georgian Healthcare Group plans to be actively involved in the promotion process and to hold a webinar with its employees.
"We have started communication with doctors and nurses, whose vaccination is planned first. Our company alone has 8,000 healthcare workers. We will hold the first webinar with our staff on February 16, where we will talk about the benefits of vaccination. There are people, who have worries, some are objective and legitimate, while others - non-objective. So, we will try to answer all the questions as much as possible, so that to have as high coverage as possible," - Nikoloz Gamkrelidze added.
