The Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia declares, that the government is working on the incentive packages for vaccinated citizens and the initial package will come in late May. However, she notes that the development of these packages must violate the citizen's right on free choice.
"Vaccine incentive mechanisms are actively used in various European countries, including the United States. Today we are going to discuss this initiative further with the Vaccination Board, because it is important to consider a number of ethical aspects. So, it must not be discriminatory and restrict freedom of choice.
These aspects will be worked out and I think we will know how to use specific incentive packages late May," Tamar Gabunia explained.
