Valeri Chekheria is no longer an advisor to the Minister of Economy, - the information is also confirmed by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. As the agency explains, his contract has expired on December 31.
Valeri Chekheria told BM.GE, that he is not holding the position from January 1:
“I don’t work on this position since January 1. I signed a contract with Slow Group and we have so many projects that unfortunately I cannot continue to work there," says Chekheria.
Former Minister of Economy Natia Turnava appointed Valeri Chekheria as an Advisor in May 2021. He has many years of experience in the hospitality sector. Prior to that, he held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Adjara Group.
According to the current information, Valeri Chekheria continues his activities abroad in the field of hospitality and cooperates with various international companies.
