We have never carried out advertising campaign on the Russian market, - Valeri Chekheria, CEO of Adjara Group, told BM.GE.
Asked by BM.GE whether Adjara Group's hospitality business was ready for Russian sanctions and flight ban, Valeri Chekheria responded that the company had never adjusted in one direction and envisaging, the risk of one market dependence, their marketing campaigns were focused on mastering new markets.
"To be honest, we always expected that one day Russia would say that flights were canceled. Therefore, we have never been focused merely on the Russian market. The load from Russia was good, but we were not active on this market”, Valeri Chekheria told BM.GE.
The CEO of Adjara Group also talked about the plans of the company, along with the opening of new hotels, they are also working on entering new markets.
“We are still focusing on European markets and new direction. We want to take the US market if there are direct flights that the tourism administration is working on; It will be very good and then we will get the flow. We have a chance to do a tour with Georgia - Azerbaijan - Turkey - Armenia if we manage, for example, with our neighboring countries, but that doesn't make much sense anyway. So if direct flights start, we are preparing to work actively on the US market, ”Valeri Chekheria announced.
