Vakhtang Lashkhi, general director of Jo Ann Medical Center declares that receiving of acute patients is being continued, but the planned process has been suspended due to the government's resolution, which envisages equalization of tariffs for the clinics.
Meeting is being held among Giorgi Gakharia and the heads of medical institutions at the Prime Minister's administration. The main issue under consideration is Government Resolution 520, which equalizes tariffs for clinics involved in the state public health program. The medical institutions do not agree with the prices set by the Ministry of Health and require their revision.
"We continue to work. We receive acute patients, as well as those patients, we have given warranty letters previously. The next planned work is stalled as we do not know how to continue working," Vakhtang Lashkhi said.
